  Completed complex boost business

We've archived our library of news aA RANGE of new business and employment opportunities could soon become available in Daventry, with the completion of a new office development on the town's Heartlands Business Park.

Phase III of Westleigh Developments' £2.5m Cottesbrooke Park complex has just recently been completed - and three of the 11 units have already been sold.

The freehold offices, with designated parking spaces, are in an attractive landscaped location with its own small lake and form the final stage of a five-year building programme. The purpose-built offices take up a 19,222 square foot site.

The previous two developments at the Heartlands Business Park completely sold out and a diverse range of businesses – from kitchen design firms to IT companies – are now thriving there. The latest companies to move in will include an investor and a leasing company.

Eight units, from 1,510 to 2,163 square feet in size, now remain at the development. Larger firms have the option of combining two units for an office of approximately 4,000 square feet.
All offices at Cottesbrooke Park offer businesses high quality accommodation, with the full range of must-have specifications for the modern business, such as optional air conditioning or storage heating, first-class insulation – including double-glazed windows and doors – specialist lighting to reduce the glare on computer screens and ample car parking for employees and visitors.

Some companies who have already moved into the Westleigh offices used company pension funds to purchase them - something Westleigh's Managing Director Chris Beighton said makes sound financial sense.

"Many small owner occupiers purchase the property through their pension schemes. The company goes in as a tenant, those in the scheme benefit from the investment in a growing property and it is also very tax efficient," said Chris.
